COLORFIRE Launches MEOW Cat Themed Gaming Laptops

COLORFIRE, a sub-brand of COLORFUL, has today announced an expansion of their MEOW branding, previously seen in GPUs and Motherboards, with their new MEOW R15 and R16 gaming laptops both inspired by the orange cat named Bobi.

Both of these new laptops sport an orange colour scheme with the meow branding and are powered by the latest Ryzen 8000 series processors, specifically the Ryzen 7 8845HS with 8 cores, 16 threads and a boost clock up to 5.1 GHz. These CPUs are accompanied with 16GB of DDR5 memory running at 5600MHz as well as an RTX 4070 laptop GPU. Both laptops also come with a single 512GB M.2 2280 NVMe SSD which is a bit lacking in 2024.

This hardware utilises a dual turbo fan cooling system that consists of 6-copper heatpipes for both the CPU and GPU. Users can control the cooling modes by pressing Fn+ESC to start control centre and switch between three cooling modes, performance, entertainment and quiet.

The two models available are separated by the size of their display starting with the Meow R15 which features a 15.6″ display with a 2560×1440 resolution and 165Hz refresh rate. The R16 on the other hand features a 16″ display with a 16:10 aspect ratio 2560×1600 resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. Both laptops feature a 1mp webcam, Intel AX210 Wi-Fi 6E, Gigabit LAN and a robust I/O consisting of:

Both laptops feature a battery of 53WH and come with a 180W power brick.
