COLORFUL Introduces the iGame GeForce RTX 2070 Ultra OC

TU106-Based Video Card from COLORFUL

Shenzen-based COLORFUL is announcing the latest addition to their iGAME video card lineup equipped with NVIDIA Turing GPUs. This is the new iGame GeForce RTX 2070 Ultra OC graphics card.

Its TU106 GPU features 2304 shader processors, 144 texture mapping units, 64 render Ops, 36 RayTracing Cores and 288 Sensor Cores. It is factory overclocked to the same level as the Founder’s Edition model. Which goes up to 1710MHz boost from a 1410MHz base clock.

This is done through a single one-click OC button in the back. Otherwise, the boost clock operates at the reference level of up to 1620MHz. The card also features 8GB of GDDR6 memory on a 256-bit memory bus, with up to 448GB/s of bandwidth.

Furthermore, COLORFUL uses custom components upgrading the reference design. It is equipped with ultra longlife Hi-C capacitors, 8+2 phase VRM with DrMOS. These are kept cool with a heatsink equipped with 5x 8mm heatpipes. These heatpipes are made using Reflow Soldering Module method, ensuring that there is proper contact with the thermal plate and the heatpipes.

This heatsink is then actively cooled with three 80mm fans. Since the heatsink is quite beefy, these fans have a 0dB auto-stop feature. Which means they only operate when the load is high enough or when temperatures exceed 55 degrees Celcius, requiring active cooling. The result, is a much quieter gaming experience most of the time.

Does it Have RGB LEDs?

Integrated RGB LEDs are available along the sides of the shroud. These are controllable via the iGame Zone II software, an updated new version for the RTX video card series. This software not only allows users to change lighting colour and behaviour, it also lets them monitor temperatures and clock speeds.

How Much is the COLORFUL iGame GeForce RTX 2070 Ultra OC?

The reference model costs $499 while the Founder’s Edition model costs $599. So expect the iGame GeForce RTX 2070 Ultra OC to be priced somewhere in between. Although closer to the Founder’s Edition version.
