Today Colorful Technology has launched two new AMD B650 motherboards under their CVN Gaming Frozen lineup of products with both an ATX and MATX model catering towards the needs of those who wish to have all-white systems.
The new CVN B650M and B650 Gaming Frozen motherboards from Colorful boast support for the latest Ryzen 7000 series CPUs and 8000G Series APUs which feature Ryzen AI technology and support for AVX-512. The ATX B650 Gaming frozen boasts a robust 16+2+1 power phase whilst the smaller B650M features a 12+2+1 power phase both featuring 55A DrMos and 10K black gold solid capacitors for robust power delivery. The boards are a mixture of white and silver including a white PCB which should make them a good choice for an all-white build
Both motherboards can support up to a total of 192GB of DDR5 memory with speeds up to 7600 MHz, plus each utilises a PCIe 5.0 16x interface alongside a second PCIe 4.0 x16 interface. The MATX board also features a single PCIe 4.0 X4 interface whilst the ATX board features two of these. For storage, the ATX motherboard features 2x PCIe 5.0 M.2 SSD slots as well as a single PCIe 4.0 M.2 slot, the MATX board features 2x PCIe 5.0 M.2 SSD slots. Support for 2.5G LAN and Wi-Fi 6 is also included and the boards make use of a 7.1-Channel High-Definition audio CODEC.
