Colorful is going old-school for its new motherboard, unveiling a H81 chipset designed specifically for cryptocurrency mining. The H81A-BTC V20 is a socket LGA1150 board, which runs Haswell and Broadwell CPUs and DDR3 RAM. Outdated, perhaps, but H81 boards are very popular for mining. For example, due to the lack of modern H81 boards, MSI released a new BIOS update for its Z170 boards to help support miners.
We have no details on retail price or launch date for Colorful H81A-BTC V20 yet.
