Colorful Reveal iGame X299 Vulcan X Motherboards

iGame X299 Vulcan X

Colorful has announced their new Flagship motherboard the iGame x299 Vulcan X. The LGA2066 motherboards are available in 2 colour schemes; white and black. Both look very impressive and will fit in with any build theme. With the combined Red accents and texturing on the heatsinks to give them an aggressive gaming feel and appearance. Exactly what they’re intended for!

Featuring 8 DDR4 DIMM slots with support for up to 128GB of ultra high-speed memory. Alongside the aforementioned LGA2066 socket for the latest intel Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X. With a 10 Phase I.P.P VRM power delivery system and support for up to 4 graphics cards with the four PCI-Express 3.0 x16 slots, meaning this board will be no slouch. It is ready for the most high-end gaming systems you can throw at it!

Storage!

Storage options are also abundant on the board with a 32Gb/s M.2-22110 slot, another 32Gb/s M.2-2280 slot and an additional 6 Sata 6Gb/s ports for maximum expansion options. This would allow for a Windows boot drive and an extra individual M.2 drive for super fast game launches.

Connectivity

Connectivity is as expected very plentiful. The iGame X299 houses 2x USB 3.1 ports (one type-A and one type-C). There are 6 x USB 3.0 (4 on the rear i/o panel and 2 more on headers).

Added Value

Twin Gigabit Ethernet slots allow high-speed bandwidth transfer. One being a Realtek DragonLan 8118AS controller, the other an Intel i211-AT. Also, audio connectivity comes from the Realtek ALC1220 CODEC. This comes with a 120dBA SNR, headphone amp, top grade audio capacitors and ground-layer isolation.

Price and Release Date?

Unfortunately, no pricing or release date has been revealed. Of course, fingers crossed they may even produce an AMD variant.
