Today, Colorful has revealed two new graphics cards for the RTX 40 series, the RTX 4070 Ultra Z with a unique power cable management design and the RTX 4060 Ti Mini, a sensibly sized RTX 4060 Ti.
COLORFUL iGame RTX 4070 Ultra Z OC
The new iGame RTX 4070 Ultra Z is an altered version of the existing Ultra W card with its holographic design however this card features an all-new design with a hidden power cable port. This new card pulls upon the trends some other manufacturers have been dabbling in and has hidden the 8-Pin PCIe cable from sight underneath a detachable magnetic backplate. This cable is routed through the back side of the card and behind your case removing it entirely from view enabling a clean and tidy system. With this design Colorful include a white extension 8-pin power cable despite the cable being hidden from view. In terms of important specs, this card offers an overclock of 2505MHz and measures 313.5mm in length.
COLORFUL iGame RTX 4060 Ti Mini
The second card Colorful is releasing is the 8GB RTX 4060 Ti Mini, which as the name suggests is an ITX variant of the RTX 4060 Ti and offers a sensible size for a 160W card at 188mm in length. The card makes use of a single 104mm Hurricane Scythe Blade fan design with a double bearing for a long lifespan which cools the large heatsink with four 6mm heat pipes for excellent heat dissipation. Despite its small size, the card features an overclock of 2580MHz. This design is perfect for white-themed SFF builds and is a very nice-looking card with an RGB strip on the side.
Where Can I Learn More?
I’m fairly fond of the idea of hidden cables and i expect we will see a lot more of it with the 50 series and possibly upcoming Radeon cards, they’ll pair up well with the DIY-Ape reverse motherboard form factors.
