In addition to the 3 series which we’ve already seen ASUSTOR put on display, we managed to grab a bit of time to take a look at the 6 series featuring the 602T, 604T and 606T NAS devices with 2, 4 and 6 drive bays respectively. All three 6 series devices feature the same core specifications but just have different numbers of drive bays. Those core specifications are:
- Intel Atom 2.13GHz Dual Core Processor/SoC
- 1GB of SODIMM DDR3 (Expandable to 3GB)
- 2.5″ or 3.5″ SATAII/III drives
- USB 3.0 X2, USB 2.0 X4 and eSATA X2
- Gigabit Ethernet X2
- HDMI 1.4 X1
- 120mm (604T and 606T) or 70mm (602T) Cooling Fan X1
Between the three models the 602T consumes around 23.5W of power in operation, the 604T around 33.5W in operation and the 606T around 40.2W in operation. The noise levels for the models are 33 dBA (602T), 24 dBA (604T) and 27 dBA (606T).
All three devices feature
- System Sleep Mode (S3)
- Auto-Standby for Both Internal and External Disks
- Auto Fan Control
- LED Night Mode
- Power Schedule: On, Off, Restart, and Sleep
