Cooler Master’s Hyper series of air CPU coolers are known throughout the entire industry for their value and performance, particularly the Hyper 212 EVO which is the king of bang-for-buck CPU coolers to most people. At Computex Cooler Master has been showing off the Hyper 103 compact tower heatsink CPU cooler. This cooler is designed to be asingle fan cooler and features a trapezium shaped heatsink, that is not square at the back.
The heatsink is fed by three 6mm copper heat pipes and this all cooled by a 92mm PWM fan that runs between 800 and 2200 RPM pushing up to 43.1 CFM. Cooler Master’s fan mounting mechanism also allows you to easily add in another 92mm fan of choice as long as it abides to the standard form factor.
The Hyper 103 weighs in at 580g including the fan and measures 108 by 89.5 by 138.5mm. The Hyper 103 will support all recent CPU sockets such as LGA 1155, LGA 1150, LGA 1366, LGA 2011, AM3(+), AM2(+), FM1 and FM2.
Based on the pricing of other Cooler Master products we can expect this to be priced closely to the Hyper TX3 as it is similar in many ways.
