Computex: EVGA Exhibit GTX 780 Hydro Copper Graphics Card

EVGA’s GTX 780 Hydro Copper is one of those graphics cards that most people really dream of, but never really want because it just costs too much to buy and you need a full water cooling loop to add it into. For that reason most people prefer to just have a good look and visit what-if land. At Computex today we stopped by to take a quick look at EVGA’s GTX 780 Hydro Copper graphics card.

The water block used on the GTX 780 Hydro Copper is produced by Swiftech but EVGA branded and it uses a full cover design to cool all parts of the graphics card.

Other specifications for the GTX 780 Hydro Copper include a base clock of 980MHz base, 1033MHz boost and 6GHz on the memory. There is 3GB of GDDR5 VRAM churning out a memory bandwidth of 288.38 GB/s. EVGA are currently selling the GTX 780 Hydro Copper for $799.99 which is about $150 more than the reference GTX 780 that costs $649.99 – not too bad considering it comes factory overclocked with a custom water block.
