Computex: Lian Li PC-TU100 & PC-TU200 “Briefcase” Style Chassis On Display

One of the more unique products at this years Computex has to be these stunning aluminum chassis from Lian Li, now while you can argue all you want that all they’ve done is stick a handle on a box, I have to say I’ve immediately fallen in love with this chassis, even though I have absolutely zero use for the handle… I just want one.

Full ATX PSU support and a huge intake fan mean power and cooling shouldn’t be an issue.

There’s room for an mITX motherboard, slim optical drive, two bay expansion card and a couple of 2.5″ HDDs, more than enough for a LAN gaming rig and with that snazzy handle and a lightweight aluminum chassis it should be pretty portable too.

This is a great little product and a little design goes a long way. It may not pack the most power system ever but I expect you can get more from this than meets the eye, it will be interesting to see how this is “handled” (buh-dum-tsh) by the modding community.

Of course if you want more room you can go for the 200 chassis, same motherboard, GPU and PSU support but with a rack of 3.5″ compatible HDD bays, full size 5.25″ bay and a little more breathing room inside.

Stay tuned to eTeknix for more Computex coverage in our Computex section.
