Cooler Master 690 II Advanced Black and White Mid-Tower Chassis Review

Taking a look at the packaging for the 690 II Advanced Black & white edition, we can see that Cooler Master sadly wasn’t very imaginative and lacked any design flair with a simple brown box that would most likely be used to when moving home. We can only hope that Cooler Master change this design for the retail versions, as it lacks any form of excitement that the original 690 II Advanced packaging has. With that aside, we do find a drawing of the case, though with two fan grill cutouts, though we aren’t aware of anything other than this case having solid panels. The features of the chassis are listed on the front including the watercooling functionality that this case includes.
On the side of the box is where we get a glimpse of the full specifications. The materials used, dimensions and full list of drive bays, cooling and fan specifications and VGA support are all included allowing you to make the decision if this case is right for you or not.
The rear of the box is where we get a different angle of the case with a rear, side and front view, showcasing and highlighting some of the main aspects of the chassis. Some of the other key features are also presented towards the bottom of the case, including the facility for watercooling and front fan colour switch.
The 690 II Advanced comes with a variety of goodies including cable ties for some extreme cable management, and a variety of screws and fixtures including motherboard stand-offs. Also bundled in is a mesh dust filter for the power supply, plastic rivets, internal speaker and fitting kit and 5.25″ to 3.5″ mesh panel adapter.
