Cooler Master is announcing their new MP750 mousepad line. Unlike any other mousepad in the market however, the new MP750 is designed to be water-resistant and has RGB LED borders. The pad itself is soft to the touch and does not have a hard synthetic body.
Its surface is made of fabric which remains slick and maneuverable while resisting liquid penetration. Persistent liquid of course can damage a typical cloth mousepad surface. However, the coating on the MP750 allows the liquid to simply form a bead so users can wipe it off without penetrating through.
The underside of the pad uses natural rubber so there is an extra layer of protection preventing the liquid from ruining your desk. Furthermore, the rubber provides excellent grip and ensures that the MP750 stays in place.
The RGB LED lighting is powered by USB through a non-obtrusive connector on the top left corner. Unlike other mousepads with the connector hub in the center, the MP750’s cable on the left side means most right-handed users will not snag their cable on the connector end.
Users can choose between medium, large and extra large sizes. The medium size measures 370 x 270 mm, while the large size measures 470 x 350mm. The XL is almost twice as wide as the Large version measuring 940 x 380 mm. All three are 3mm thick.
The MSRP starts at €34 for the Medium, €44 for the Large and €54 for the XL version. They will be available in Amazon, NewEgg and other retail stores carrying Cooler Master products soon.
