Cooler Master CM 690 III Mid Tower Chassis Review

Complete System
The build for the 690 III was almost effortless, it’s always nice to build a system without any complications. The cable routing doesn’t look like much but as you can see, it is doing a great job of keeping everything neat and tidy and dare I say it looks a little too good in here for a case that doesn’t even have a side panel window.
The airflow on this case is superb, with a 200mm fan in the front feeding out GPU and CPU with plenty of air and having space to mount extra fans in the base and top sections will only improve on this. Of course dependant on your configuration you could also benefit from the side panel fan mounts.
I’ve left all the hard drive bays in place, as there was a massive amount of space for our graphics card without any fear of conflicts or airflow restrictions. I could have moved the HDD bay wider for 3.5″ drives and there still wouldn’t be any space issues for our graphics card, something that will prove popular with those wanting multi GPU’s and a lot of storage.
With the side panel back in place we see just how fantastic this case really looks. We get a sneak view of the edge of our GPU through the side panel fan mounts, but overall this is just a clean, professional and tidy looking chassis that does a great job of neatly hiding the system inside it.
