Cooler Master GM-GM34-CWQ2 21:9 Monitor Review

I’m a big fan of Cooler Master monitors, between them and AOC, I think they’re both the two top of brands on the market right now in terms of offering great features and value for money. However, while I use a lot of AOC products for work, on my own desk, I have Cooler Master, which should tell you a lot given how many monitors I review each year! The GM34-CWQ2 hits the market as a direct replacement and upgrade to the previous GM34-CWQ ARGB monitor from two years ago (check out my review of it here).

While the old model maxed out at 144Hz, this new one has a newer panel capable of hitting 180Hz. Admittedly, you won’t see much of a difference between the two in real-world usage, but without a doubt, that will still help cut your latency and possible response times by 25%, which is always going to be a good thing for gamers, and the monitor has a 2ms response native, but 0.5ms MPRT, which should make the monitor feel more responsive overall. It features a VA 10bit (8bit+RFC) w/ Quantum Dot panel with a UWQHD 3440×1440 panel, but with it being a newer panel, with 95% DCI-P3 coverage and 4000:1 contrast ratio, which of course, I’ll be testing later.
