A Closer Look
The SF-19 Strike Force is nothing out of the ordinary and features quite a large surface that accepts up to 19″ notebooks. A ventilated wire mesh takes up the majority of the surface whilst a combination of plastic and rubber surround the outer edges adding grip and protection to the cooler.

The back includes a removable plastic panel that allows you to gain access to the internal fans that make this product tick.

The rubber casing features an embossed wording for CM Storm and is positioned in the middle of the cooler, at the top and is the only real branding on the whole unit.

The left side of the cooler features some shiny buttons and a scroll wheel. The buttons enable the user to turn the LED function on or off, change the LED colour from various different shades of the rainbow and also to adjust the fan speed from 1200 to 2600 RPM.

The right side of the cooler has some more exciting features that we haven’t seen on any of the notebook coolers that we’ve had a play with lately and that is USB 3.0. It incorporates four USB 3.0 ports as well as a very odd looking connector in the middle. This connector is where the supplied cable plugs into whist the other end connects into your laptop. By doing this, it essentially turns the notebook cooler into a USB hub. Don’t worry if you haven’t got a USB 3.0 enabled laptop as you can still use this feature with USB 1.1/2.0 to get the extra functionality of having another four ports.

Also just next to these ports is where the supplied power adapter would plug into, to enable the main functions of the cooler.

For some extreme cooling, the SF-19 Strike Force features two 140mm fans which operate between 1200 and 2600 RPM depending on your preference. As said, the speed of the fan is easily changed using the scroll wheel on the left side of the SF-19.
