Cooler Master CM Storm SF-19 Strike Force Notebook Cooler Review

Test Setup
When testing an item of this nature, its comparison as such is against no added cooling. Due to this we ran our temperature tests with the cooler unplugged and our laptop placed upon it, thus giving it sufficient room to breathe.

We then ran CoreTemp to measure the temperature of the two cores. Once the temperatures were recorded, we ran the next phase of our tests which included turning the cooler on, to its lowest setting and recording the results of the two cores again. After this, in the same way we recorded the temperatures of the two cores, but using the coolers highest setting.

The laptop that we decided to use was:

  • Model: Fujitsu/Siemens Amilo Pi 2515
  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 @ 1.50GHz
  • Memory: 2GB DDR2
  • Graphics: Intel GMA X3100
  • Screen Size: 15.4 LCD WXGA display
  • Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium
