Cooler Master and CoolChip @ CES 2015

CES 2015 is a strange one for Cooler Master this year. The company normally launches or at least shows off, a huge range of new products for the year at the show, but this year they’ve got no new products at all! This isn’t that surprising however, as the company is making a bigger push to focus on the Computex event mid-year. They’ve used CES 2015 to educate their new branding structure, which aims to simplify product catagories into low, mid and high-end components, so that consumers better understand what they need. This reshuffle of products is to lay the groundwork for their soon to be revealed products and we really can’t wait to show you what these will be.
What did catch our attention is their collaboration with CoolChip, who have designed an innovative new cooling design that you’ll soon be seeing in the Cooler Master range. Why spin a fan on the cooler, when you can spin the entire cooler. This doesn’t look like much, but the cooling performance it displayed was impressive, almost as impressive as the fact it was incredibly quiet compared to its fan equivilent.
