Cooler Master Excalibur 120mm Fan Review

The front gives you a proper glimpse at that unique fan blade design. Cooler Master claims it gives better pressure, which is probably why the maximum airflow of 85 CFM is low for an “up-to” 2000 RPM PWM fan. Given the fact Cooler Master went for pressure over airflow this fan would be better suited for dense heatsinks and radiators as opposed to being a chassis fan.
The included cable is nice quality and braided, although it would of been nice to see Cooler Master disguise the multi-coloured cabling on the rear as that kind of ruins the aesthetics in my opinion – especially if the fan is visible inside your system.
The fan uses this perforated design whereby holes cover the entire circumference of the fan design. I don’t see the point of this, it just means the airflow is less focused as it can escape around the entire fan which reduces cooling performance, and gives what in return?
