Cooler Master GA2701S Full HD 100Hz IPS Monitor Review

Performance
My first impressions of the panel are good, it has a decent level of brightness and good contrast, so even in a very bright office, the colours look good and while Full HD may not sound much these days, on a 27″ panel it still offers a good overall pixel density.
The contrast levels look good, with good black levels and good looking white levels that makes text and images clear to read and look good.
For watching a bit of YouTube, a movie or in this case, some One Piece, the panel is pretty decent. The colours look vibrant, the contrast is good, and the motion handling is great thanks to the 100Hz Adaptive Sync panel.
While I prefer a larger display for my daily workflow, 27″ really isn’t too bad, and if you’re pairing this with a laptop to give you a secondary display or extra workspace, then it’s still going to be a benefit to your productivity.
I set this up as my second monitor for the day, and have been working hard! Or, in fact, just watching Beard Meets Food videos all day, but I won’t tell if you don’t.
For gaming, 100Hz is plenty, and while I game at 144Hz+ it’s still a drastic upgrade over a 60Hz panel. From FPS to RPG, a smoother image is a smoother image, and it gives you better clarity, fewer ghosting issues, and just feels smoother overall.
While not an eSports beast, it’s just a nice monitor in its own right, and far nicer than I would have thought given its truly amazing price tag.
