Cooler Master GM238-FFS Gaming Monitor Review

I’m a big fan of PC gaming, and given I work in the tech industry, it’s common for me to be surrounded by a lot of hardware that represents the best of the best. However, when it comes down to it, that also often means everything is really damn expensive. But just how much high-end gaming thrills can you get on a smaller budget? Well, with the new Cooler Master GM238-FFS gaming monitor, more than you might think. And yes, it’s really called the FFS, which must be “For Frakes Sake”, I’m sure.

Cooler Master GM238-FFS

The GM238-FFS is a smaller monitor, coming in at 23.8″ or 24″ if you want to keep things really simple. It has a full HD panel, delivering 1920 x 1080 resolutions, but then it gets interesting. It’s equipped with an UltraSpeed IPS 144Hz panel, which features Dynamic Overdrive, and Adaptive Sync. It also promises great colours too, thanks to 90% DCI-P3 coverage. What makes it so exciting is that you can get all of this for just £159. Oh, not sounding so shabby now, is it‽

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
