A Closer Look

First things first, the Cooler Master range of monitors is well known for this fantastic stand design. While the more premium version has RGB built into the base, the overall design between the more expensive models and this more affordable model is broadly the same, which is awesome.

It’s a durable and easy-to-use stand design, and it just clips on to the back of the monitor. However, you can use your own VESA stand or wall mount should you have one.

There’s also a little plastic thingy that clips on the back, and it’ll hold all your cables neatly out of sight behind the main support.

As I said, the stand just clicks in, so you can install the whole thing without the use of tools, which is always a good thing.

While it’s on its face, we can see the back, and you’ll find a pair of HDMI and a single DisplayPort, more than enough to hook up your PC and a console or two.

The screen features a 1500R curve, which is fairly subtle, but it does make a difference and it feels very natural to sit in front of. There’s a really good anti-glare on the panel too, it’s really bright in here, as you can see, there’s a lot of light and shadow around my desk, but the panel looks pretty clear of bright reflections.

The stand has a good range of ergonomics too, it can be pushed very low (as above), or jacked up nice and high, so you should be able to find your optimal height with ease, and you can adjust it with one hand too.

There’s not a huge amount of rotation, but honestly, it’s more than enough and if you wanted a more extreme angle, you can turn the whole monitor and stand easily enough, as it’s not particularly heavy.

There’s a little forward tilt and some backward tilt too, but overall, it’s all fairly standard stuff, but all certainly welcome.
