Cooler Master GM34-CWQ ARGB Monitor Review

Cooler Master may be better known for its PC components, with a long history of creating everything from PC cases to keyboards. However, more recently, they’ve been pushing into the world of gaming monitors. I’m glad they did too, as the first one I reviewed absolutely blew me away, and while I don’t mean to spoil the whole review in the opening, this new one is pretty special too.

Cooler Master GM34-CWQ ARGB Monitor Review

On the surface, this monitor is ticking all the usual boxes for a decent gaming monitor. It’s in the increasingly popular 21:9 format, which sports a resolution of 3440×1440 pixels, a 144hz refresh rate for silky smooth gaming, and a superbly quick 0.5ms MRPT for a faster response time. With a 1500R curve, the 21:9 panel should perfectly line up with your field of view, which is great for work and even more so for gaming and movies. However, the one feature that really stands out to me is the colour reproduction, promising 98% DCI-P3, so the GM34 should really dazzle when it comes to media that has an extended colour pallet; games, HDR movies, etc.
