Cooler Master H100 Mini-ITX Case Review

How Much Does it Cost?

The latest mini-ITX case from Cooler Master is available now with an MSRP of just £54.99. However, it’s already on sale for a very reasonable £48.48 on Amazon UK. That’s a fantastic price for any PC case, but for the overall quality of this one, I think it’s a bargain.

Overview

There’s a lot of mini-ITX cases to pick from, but the simplicity and practicality of this one really stands out to me. It’s a simple case but still manages to be stylish and easy to use. I mean, what more could you ask for?

Build Quality

There’s a bit of plastic trim on the front corners and edges, but they’re all nicely finished. It’s all-metal on the interior and because it’s so compact, it’s amazingly durable and rigid feeling. There’s a huge front panel dust filter, actually, the front panel IS the dust filter, it’s very open and allows for massive airflow. Of course, you also get a great quality 200mm RGB fan in there, and that certainly adds to the quality and value for money.

Versatility

Well, it’s good for a compact gaming PC and not much else, but that’s fine. It has great cooling from the big fan, allowing you to run a powerful GPU and CPU combo in a small space with confidence. I love that they opted to give it a full ATX PSU mount though, so you don’t have to get a more expensive SFX unit. However, you will need a fairly low profile CPU cooler, but that’s fine.

Even the slightly longer DTX motherboards will fit, as well as a 2.5x slot graphics card, while still leaving room for a few extra hard drives.

Should I Buy One?

The Cooler Master H100 Mini-ITX PC Case offers up a fantastic compact design that’s both simple yet stylish. Small enough to be carried around, but big enough to house some decent gaming hardware. That 200mm RGB fan and RGB controller just sweetens the deal. I may have to make this my next mini-ITX build, I love it!
