Cooler Master Hyper 412 Slim CPU Cooler Review

With the Cooler Master Hyper 412 Slim attached to our motherboard you can see there are no compatibility issues with having a high profile G.Skill Trident X RAM module in the first slot. The first PCI Express 1X slot isn’t blocked either which can happen on coolers that have a lot of length.
A closer shot shows you that it is a tight squeeze but there is no pressure being exerted on the RAM by the fan.
Kudos to Cooler Master for making the Hyper 412 Slim so RAM friendly, there are even a few millimetres of clearance to spare. You can also see how dense the aluminium heat sinks are from this angle, and the fact Cooler Master have braided the fan cables very nicely for a mid range CPU cooler.
There are absolutely no RAM, PCI express or VRM heat sink compatbility issues with the Cooler Master Hyper 412 Slim – as this top down shot of it clearly shows. I’d go as far to say this is probably the most universally compatible CPU cooler I’ve tested so far.
