Cooler Master Hyper 612S CPU Cooler Review

We repeated the testing procedures with our Intel Core i7 2600K CPU overclocked to 4.4GHz using a BIOS voltage of 1.240V which crept up to a maximum of 1.288V under load conditions. We must remind you that we have recently discovered our processor runs slightly hotter than usual, but seeing as all tests use the same CPU, the results aren’t biased.
With the heat turned up by overclocking our Core i7 2600K CPU to 4.4GHz, we see much of the same in terms of performance compared to the Hyper 612S’ competition. The Aegir and V6GT still manage to offer significantly better cooling performance while the Gelid Tranquillo Rev. 2 isn’t quite able to keep pace with the 612S.
