Cooler Master Hyper 622 Halo Black CPU Cooler Review

Performance
Right away, I’m seriously impressed with this cooler. I mean, the hardware is robust, and there are a lot of heatpipes, and quality fans too, so the performance was pretty much sure to be great. However, it had a gaming load of 44c, which is just 20c over ambient and 75c at load, which is just 51c above ambient. That’s enough to massively outperformed the Noctua NH-D15S… but there’s a catch, of course, its 120mm fans were pinned to 43 dBA to do it, while the Noctua was completely inaudible over the case fans.

Over when overclocking, it turned out to be the best we’ve seen yet. Again, this came at the trade-off of noise levels, but hell, you can find a balance in the fan curve that suits your needs. That being said, I would even regard 43c as loud, but I would call the fans audible.
