A Closer Look

It’s about now we start to take a look at the product itself. Firstly, taking a look at the product from the top we can see the basic design. To create this U-Shape airflow they have cut the middle section out so the air can move around underneath the laptop.

The product looks good and they have clearly gone to a bit of effort to make it look nearly even classy.

To make sure the laptop sits on the cooler nicely without scratching either, they have added some rubber feet/stands which stop the laptop from moving anywhere.

Turning the product over, we can see the slightly larger rubber feet used, this time to make sure the product doesn’t slide over a desk for instance. The product is deeper at the bottom of this picture raising the laptop up into a more comfortable working angle.

At the bottom of the above picture the product curls round to join the top of the product, this is where the air is sucked into the fans. This grill is fairly large especially when there are two of them.

Next we look at the controls, which are on the left-hand side of the product. The first socket is the micro USB which provides power to the product. There is then a button to turn it on/off. A dial to adjust the fan speeds. As well as a DC power supply if you want to power it from the mains – although this cable is not provided it is fairly standard.

A nice extra feature of this product is that on the right-hand side they have added 3 USB 2.0 ports, this effectively works like a Hub, so although this product takes up an extra USB slot on your laptop, you are compensated with 3 more. A nice extra.
