Cooler Master is officially announcing their new MasterSet MS120 Keyboard+Mouse gaming combo. It sits above the previously released MasterKeys Lite on the product stack in terms of price and feature set.
The MasterSet MS120 keyboard uses a “mem-chanical” switch design which is actually spring-loaded unlike the MasterKeys Lite membrane switches. It is still a membrane keyboard underneath, but the actuation is heavier and has a very distinct mechanical sound due to the spring hitting the switch enclosure inside. The MS120 keyboard is also RGB backlit with the LED controls available just by Fn keyboard combinations.
The MasterSet MS120 mouse uses the familiar CM Storm Xornet or CM Storm Spawn body design ,which is for right handed users. It has a prominent pinky rest on the right side. This allows users to have a better grip and down-force via their pinky finger. The sensor inside is a Pixart 3050 optical with four CPI presets available up to 3500. Cooler Master also uses Omron microswitches for the main buttons so that it lasts longer for gaming sessions.
The Cooler Master MasterSet MS120 keyboard+mouse gaming combo set is available starting August 29 worldwide for €89.99.
