Cooler Master Intros Small Form Factor Ncore 100 Max Case

Cooler Master has today introduced a new small form factor PC case to its large line-up of cases, capable of blending high performance with a remarkably compact footprint, and staple Cooler Master design.

Ncore 100 Max

The Ncore 100 Max comes in with a volume of just 15.7 litres and is constructed from aluminium alloy and comes in both a standard grey as well as a bronze colourway. Within its chassis it integrates both a 120 x 38mm custom AIO liquid cooling system as well as a V SFX Gold ATX 3.0 850W PSU. The chassis itself is perforated to provide maximum ventilation and add a bit of Cooler Master’s recognisable style. The front I/O features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports alongside a single USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C and finally an audio combo jack.

Cooling Support

The cooling design of the case is rather simple and reminiscent of other ITX form factor cases, it simply relies on the 120mm AIO and a 2400 RPM PWM fan in the rear to pull air up through the chassis and exhaust it out of the top. Like they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Hardware Compatibility

Hardware support is of course not the strong point in an SFX chassis, however this case does feature the ability to be extended which allows for thicker GPUs from 3 slots thick to 3.9 slots thick. The frame simply extends outward increasing the graphics card clearance from 337 x 62 x 180mm to 357 x 79 x 180mm.
