Cooler Master Intros Small Form Factor Ncore 100 Max Case

Cooler Master has today introduced a new small form factor PC case to its large line-up of cases, capable of blending high performance with a remarkably compact footprint, and staple Cooler Master design.

Ncore 100 Max

The Ncore 100 Max comes in with a volume of just 15.7 litres and is constructed from aluminium alloy and comes in both a standard grey as well as a bronze colourway. Within its chassis it integrates both a 120 x 38mm custom AIO liquid cooling system as well as a V SFX Gold ATX 3.0 850W PSU. The chassis itself is perforated to provide maximum ventilation and add a bit of Cooler Master’s recognisable style. The front I/O features two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type A ports alongside a single USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C and finally an audio combo jack.

Key Features

  • Compact Power: The Ncore 100 Max integrates the V SFX Gold ATX 3.0 850W PSU, delivering top-tier performance in a minimal space. This makes it an ideal choice for desktop warriors who need high power in limited space.
  • Advanced Cooling Solutions: True to Cooler Master’s heritage, the Ncore 100 Max features advanced thermal solutions, including a custom AIO cooler with a 38mm-thick radiator and custom-designed fan ensuring optimal CPU performance. An efficient negative air pressure layout keeps the entire case cool even under intense gaming conditions.
  • Sleek Minimalist Design: The case’s anodized aluminium body and extendable width (155mm to 172mm) is a blend of modern elegance and functionality, delivering a clean, modern design that looks as good as it performs.
  • Room for Today’s GPUs: The case’s innovative design allows it to house the most massive GPUs, offering a perfect SFF solution for power users, including full compatibility with the 4090 GPU.

Cooling Support

The cooling design of the case is rather simple and reminiscent of other ITX form factor cases, it simply relies on the 120mm AIO and a 2400 RPM PWM fan in the rear to pull air up through the chassis and exhaust it out of the top. Like they say, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.

Hardware Compatibility

Hardware support is of course not the strong point in an SFX chassis, however this case does feature the ability to be extended which allows for thicker GPUs from 3 slots thick to 3.9 slots thick. The frame simply extends outward increasing the graphics card clearance from 337 x 62 x 180mm to 357 x 79 x 180mm.

What Cooler Master Had To Say

“Cooler Master has always been at the forefront of innovation and, with the Ncore 100 Max, we’re pushing the boundaries of SFF design,” said Jimmy Sha, Cooler Master CEO. “Our vision was to create a case that is not only compact, cool, and capable of housing the latest and most powerful components, but also a joy to build in.”

Price and Availability

The Ncore 100 Max and Ncore 100 Max Bronze Edition will be available in the UK from 22nd January through Cooler Master’s network of retailers at an MSRP of £359.99 or £339.99 for the first two weeks of launch.
