Cooler Master Launch MasterCase Pro 6

The Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 6 is here at last! We’ve seen this chassis a few times in the past at trade shows, first in prototype format and more recently the retail version at CES 2017, and now it’s coming out into the wild for the world to enjoy! Based around the same heavily modular interior of the MasterCase Pro 5, the six is designed to be sleeker and quieter than its lairly gamer loving sibling.
“Uniform, Seamless Body Design What makes the MasterCase Pro 6 immediately stand out from the rest of the MasterCase series is its flush look. The top, front and back panels are all seamlessly merged by smooth, flush panels in dark metallic grey. The front is marked by a soft LED glow emerging from the bottom. Even the I/O panel is hidden by a cover that blends into the top panel.”
While the Pro 6 is still extremely capable of housing a high-performance gaming system, with room for multiple graphics cards, water cooling hardware and more, its focus is on silent performance and a more understated design. I’m sure some love their systems to stand out, but in a home or office environment, sometimes you want something smart and clean looking to suit your taste.
“For those concerned about the typically subpar airflow of cases with a flush design, Cooler Master has added an interesting “pop.” In addition to the thin vents on the four corners of the case that provide ventilation, the top and front panels can be popped open with a two-tier magnetic paneling system that creates little vents, lining the space between the panels and the frame. Versatile liquid cooling is also another cooling option, with a water cooling bracket that allows 297mm radiator space on top, or front installation by shifting the bottom HDD cage.”
The chassis still features the FreeForm Modular System, which means it is compatible with the wide range of add-on accessories from Cooler Master. It’ll come in two variants, one with blue LED fans and lighting, the other with red. Both are expected to be available by the end of the month and come with a £139.99 price tag.
We’ll have a full review for you very soon, so stay tuned for more information.
