Cooler Master Launches V Series Power Supply Units

Cooler Master officially launched their new V-series power supplies today and they look to be quite impressive. The V Series power supplies feature the most stable and efficient power supply unit in its class thanks to exclusive 3D circuit design and Silencio FP technology.

The new V-series power supplies are available in three different designs, one with 550W, one with 650W, and one with 750W. The three new units come with a fully modular design that includes flat cables. The V-series comes with Gold and Platinum ratings, but these three new units are all Gold. Cooler Master managed to put all this technology into a compact form factor that will fit pretty much any chassis that can take ATX power supplies.

The Silencio FP fan technology enhances the possible airflow and reduces vibrations at the same time. In return, you get an even more stable power supply.

The V550 and V650 come with the usual 20+4-pin and 4+4-pin motherboard connectors while the V750 features an extra 4+4-pin. The two small units feature two PCIe 6+2-pin connectors and the V750 again doubles that. When it comes to SATA, Molex, and Berg connectors, it looks a bit different. The V550 features six SATA power, three MOLEX, and one Berg. The V650 and V750 have eight SATA power connections, six Molex, and 1 Berg/Floppy connector.

The three new units will be available in Europe at the beginning of October 2015 for an MSRP of £89.99, £99.99, and £109.99 respectively for the V550, V650, and V750.
