Packaging
Cooler Master has really dialled in their branding in recent years, with the purple and blue on everything they do, and it looks pretty cool. The box is quite large, and durable, an there’s a really nice picture of the cooler on the front of the box, simple but effective.
Around the back, there’s a blown apart image, showing you all the key engineering points of the cooler, as well as an international translation on the right side.
It’s just about as well packaged as a cooler could be. With a secure double wall of cardboard on everything, half an inch of foam, and then the outer box. I could have kicked this around the offer for half an hour and it would likely be just fine.
Oh, and there’s more foam around the fan, of course there is! Museums pack great works of art with less care (OK, I made that bit up, but you get the idea).
In the box, you’ll find a fan split/extension cable, Intel and AMD brackets, and an additional fan; there’s also a handy tool for the installation process.
