Cooler Master Masterbox 5t Chassis Review

Introduction
Cooler Master has been on a winning streak with their chassis’ for quite some time now. Since they relaunched their brand with the “Make it Yours” motto, we’ve seen award-winning products hit the market one after the other. Now they’re back again with something a little more budget focused, targeted at the PC gaming market who want to build a high-end system, but also have something that’s a little more unique and aggressive compared to their Master Case series.
Featuring an aggressive two-tone black and red theme, the Masterbox 5t should appeal to those who soaked up the masses of black and red themed hardware from brands like Asus and MSI, although certainly not limited to only those. Why is it called 5t you might ask? Why it stands for TURBO of course! Not sure why, but it sounds exciting and likely relates to the unique two-tone design. Some other welcome Cooler Master features make a return here too, with a durable carry handle built right into the top of the chassis, which is capable of supporting 30KG of weight, so more than enough for lugging your system with you at LAN gaming events, and there’s even a fan controller thrown in for good measure.
With support for ATX motherboards, a decent amount of storage, large expansion cards and more, it’s certainly capable of housing a decent rig. Add to that the extensive fan mounts, as well as having room for 240/280/360mm radiators in the front, and we’re on our way to having a high-performance gaming PC.
That’s all the basics out of the way, so let’s dive right in and take a closer look at what the latest chassis from Cooler Master has to offer!
