It didn’t take long to get a system installed within the MB520. It’s hardly a groundbreaking or innovative design, so it was straightforward from start to finish. Although, I wish I installed the PSU cables before the cooler, as reaching the CPU power connector was hardly an easy job; more my fault than Cooler Masters though.
The cable routing is excellent throughout. The best part has to be the vertical cable pass-through for the GPUs. It’s such a clean and efficient way of doing things. I absolutely hate dragging cables over or under the GPU.
The Noctua NH-D15 fit with ease, sure it’s tight, but hey, if it fits it fits. There’s good clearance here for a rear mount AIO too if you wanted to go that route.
Up front, there’s clearly room for a much larger GPU if you had the need for one. However, the 1080 Ti we used fit with more than enough room to spare and left room for front panel radiators.
Not much doing on up here, but with good cable routing, the airflow should be good. Well, when you add more fans to the front, obviously.
Overall, there’s not a whole lot to remark on, it’s done a great job of fitting our hardware, and the end result does look pretty fantastic.
With all the panels back in place, you can still see the hardware through the window tint. However, the tint does hide darker objects such as cables, keeping things looking neater than ever.
