Cooler Master Masterbox NR200P V2 PC Case Review

Cooler Master has a great track record for great PC cases, so today, I’m pretty excited to check out their new MasterBox NR200P V2 Mini-ITX Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case. This mini-ITX case looks perfect for those wanting to build a powerful gaming system in a small space.

It supports a variety of cooling options, including 240mm and 280mm liquid coolers, and has efficient airflow thanks to a 120mm bottom-mounted fan and vertical GPU layout that comes bundled with a PCIe Gen4 riser cable. The NR200P also includes a tempered glass side panel in the box, for showing off your hardware, but comes with a mesh panel pre-installed. So while it is small, it should still deliver a pretty slick looking build, further enhanced by Cooler Masters latest NCORE design that they say is built for maximising cooling performance and style simultaneously.

What’s really cool is that there’s a MAX version of this case, which comes bundled with a 280mm AIO and an 850W SFX PSU for £299, but the V2 is the more affordable bundle for around £99 that is simply the case which comes with a pre-installed fan. It’s also available in black or white, so you have some good choices here.

  • Stay Cool Under Pressure: No performance compromises with support for 240mm/280mm liquid coolers, providing the ultimate in thermal efficiency.
  • Optimized Gpu Performance: An efficient vertical airflow layout supported by a 120mm bottom-mounted fan keeps your GPU extra cool.
  • Comprehensive Gpu Support: Includes vertical mounting options, a custom PCIe 4.0 riser cable, and a support bracket for GPUs up to 356mm in length and 160mm in height.
  • Easy, Tool-Free Access: All external panels are secured with pins for easy removal, facilitating quick access to the internals without the use of tools, while a removable GPU panel simplifies the installation process.
  • The New Ncore Style: An NCORE redesign provides a sleek take on maximizing cooling performance and style simultaneously.
  • USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C Support: A USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 Type C port is built into the I/O panel with up to 20Gbps transfer speeds.
