Cooler Master‘s beloved HAF series is back in a new form. The new H500P case continues the previous “High Air-Flow” approach of the original HAF series, but now includes the FreeForm modular design of the MasterCase series. At the front, the new H500P makes use of two 200mm RGB LED fans. Yes, 200mm, delivering plenty of airflow from the front-side intakes. The front also has a lovely full-view acrylic window so that RGB LED lighting is fully appreciated.
Aside from the pair of 200mm RGB fans at the front, there is also an additional 140mm rear fan pre-installed. Radiator support at the top includes 120mm, 140mm, 240mm, 280mm, 360mm (maximum thickness clearance 55mm). Radiator support at the front includes 120mm, 140mm 240mm, 280mm, 360mm.
The top area has a similar high-airflow side mesh openings. The aesthetic is actually the perfect blend of the original military-style HAF cases and the new angled MasterCase/MasterBox series. The outside has a much cleaner and streamlined apperance, which also now extends inside.
Cooler Master provides some interesting covers so that even users without custom cabling can hide unsightly PSU cables. This is a great idea considering the side-panels are tempered glass. Users who are fond of their RGB LED components can easily show it off. The rest of the chassis itself is gunmetal grey, so it does not clash with the colors.
The Cooler Master MasterCase H500P is available now from Overclockers UK at a surprisingly low price of 139.99 GBP.
