Price
The Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 3 Micro-ATX chassis is available from almost all major retailers for around £89.99, such as this one we found at Scan.co.uk. This isn’t particularly cheap, and there are more cost-effective solutions on the market, but when it comes to rock-solid quality, you’re certainly getting what you pay for here.
Overview
Cooler Master have knocked it out of the park once again, and while the Pro 3 may be the little brother of the MasterCase Pro 5, it’s by no means a lesser product. The same rock solid build quality, the stylish angular design, the premium quality finish, basically everything we loved about the 5 can be found on the 3. The only real difference here is that it’s not as big, stepping down from ATX to Micro-ATX and if that’s the size you need for your build, then the Pro 3 is obviously the way to go. To hammer home that point, the Pro 3 is around £30-40 cheaper than the larger Pro 5, making is excellent value for money.
The price may seem a little high, but you do get an awful lot for your money. The modular nature of this chassis is the main selling point and it’s an ecosystem that Cooler Master is working hard to promote. Need more storage bays? The chassis can easily handle more, just buy a few extra bays from the Cooler Master store and you can stick in ten hard drives in RAID for your workstation or server. Need a silence focused build? Swap out the top and front panels. Desire tempered glass? Buy that panel too. The whole modular ecosystem means that when it comes to upgrading your system, you don’t have to replace your entire chassis, it grows with your needs.
With support for the largest graphics cards on the market, thick water cooling radiators, 120/140mm fans throughout. As well as offering a fully removable 5.25″ drive bay mount, easy transport thanks to the reinforced carry handles, modular storage bays, PSU shroud, exceptional cable routing and washable dust filters, the MasterCase Pro 3 has got everything you could hope for, making it an ideal choice for gaming systems, workstations, in the office, LAN gaming and so much more.
