Cooler Master MasterCase Pro 6 Chassis Review

Complete System

Now that we’ve got everything installed, you can really appreciate how much space there is in here. We’ve stripped out the front HDD bays, leaving it nice and open for maximum airflow from the front fans, or even just room to stick in a radiator. You’ll have no issues freeing up enough space for even the biggest graphics cards on the market either, even the 270X (which is huge) has room to spare.

Cable routing is absolutely flawless on this build, and it took next to no effort. The extra cable “cramming” space the PSU cover provides is not to be understated.

A couple of handy SSD mounts with stealthy covers to keep them out of sight.

The horizontal grommets doing their job nicely, making it very easy to reach side-loading power connectors on the graphics cards.

Want a massive air cooler? Not a problem, the width of this chassis is unlikely to be cause for concern (I actually have a Noctua D15 in my Pro 5, so I know it’ll do it!).

All panels back in place and that huge window shows off the hardware nicely, but the black interior does a nice job of keeping its self hidden, as well as making it hard to see boring things like cables and screws.

With the lights off, the chassis looks almost ominous and monolithic, especially with those dark black panels.

Powered up, the chassis glows ever so slightly, with a rather dim and subtle red LED lighting on the rear fan, it barely lights up the interior of the chassis, it’s more of a highlight than a floodlight.

You also get this warm red glow from the base of the front panel, it’s an indirect light, so the effec tis much more subtle in person and it’s on a glossy table here too which is making it look brighter.

Pop those panels out for extra airflow!

One last party trick for the MasterCase Pro 6, the front panel doesn’t just pop out and pop off, it also folds down with ease. Not everyone uses a 5.25″ drive bay these days, but if you do, that solid front panel isn’t going to be getting in the way!
