A Closer Look

The Masterliquid 120 comes with two very nice MasterFan 120AB fans, which feature rubber grommets on each corner, ensuring a clean fit and helping to reduce any unwanted vibrations.

Since this is an AIO (All-in-One) cooler, the pump, tubing and the radiator come pre-assembled and pre-filled; a tempting solution for those who want to water cool, but don’t want much of the complications of a custom loop.

The radiator is the same design we’ve seen on a few recent Cooler Master coolers, but that’s a good thing, as it’s one of the best looking AIO radiator design out there, with a nicely squared off finish and virtually no clutter to the design; it should blend in very easily with your chassis.

The tubing has been given a big upgrade this time around, and it is very thick with a tight black braided weave covering over the anti-kink tubing. They’re also fitted more securely, with a generous piece of heat shrink-wrap on the fittings.

The new pump design is pretty simple, no complex RGB lighting or transparent top cover like we saw on the Pro models, but it does have a lower profile design, which could make it a little easier to install in tighter spaces.

On the side of the pump, two heavy-duty tubing mounts with pivots, allowing you to change the angle of the pump and hoses to suit your installation orientation.

Finally, a huge copper contact plate on the base, ensuring you get 100% coverage on your CPU of choice. Overall, nothing particularly groundbreaking here, but looks great, feels very durable, and that’s pretty much everything we could want from an AIO.
