Cooler Master Masterliquid 120 AIO CPU Cooler Review

Introduction

Cooler Master has already released a fair few award-winning coolers over the years, from their humble budget friendly air coolers, such as the 212X, to their high-end 240mm Masterliquid 240, and 280mm. Now we’re back with another one of their high-end AIO coolers, the Masterliquid 120. It’s the cheaper of the new range, but it’s also the most compact, meaning it’ll be compatible with a greater number of systems.

“One of the greatest advantages of liquid cooling is silence. The sturdy build of MasterLiquid coolers mean less noise and vibration, making our AIOs some of the quietest in-class.” Cooler Master

Featuring a dual fan push-pull configuration, the Masterliquid 120 promises to shift plenty of heat from its slim 120mm radiator design. Not only that, but it uses Cooler Masters latest low-profile dual-chamber pump design, improved FEP tubing with durable braided sleeving, and comes with extensive socket support that spans as far back as 775, right up to the latest AM4 and 2011-v3 sockets.

Features and Specifications

Packaging and Accessories

The 120 comes in a nicely designed box, with a clear image of the product on the front, as well as details of the socket support. The box is pretty heavy-duty too, helping ensure everything gets to you in one piece.

In the box, you’ll find quite a lot of hardware! There are mounting kits for Intel and AMD sockets, plus a few extra fittings to accommodate 2011-v3, and the newer AM4 socket. There are two high-quality fans included too, as well as a Y-splitter cable to hook them up to a single motherboard header. Finally, you’ll also get a tube of thermal paste, with enough included for multiple re-installations.
