How Much Does it Cost?

The Cooler Master Atmos series is available now, with the 240mm available on Scan.co.uk for just £139.99, while the larger 360mm model I reviewed today is just £142.38, just a few quid more than the 240mm, so pretty amazing value for money right now. You can check for up to date stock and prices here. At the time of writing these coolers also come with a free pack of Thermal Grizzly Aeronaut Thermal Paste worth £8 too, so that’s pretty cool!

Overview

Cooler Master has a hit a real sweet spot with the Atmos, as they’ve kept things relatively simple, and it’s definitely worked in their favour. I personally think that while there are new pumps, radiator designs, new fans, there’s been little to no improvement in performance of AIO coolers for some time, at least as far as your average consumer is concerned. So brands have been adding more glitz and glamour and jacking the price up in a battle for kick-ass aesthetics.

However, Cooler Master has managed to deliver what I think is one of the more interesting and cool looking products, that costs about the same as most brands relatively plain ones. I think the pump design is really interesting, and the fact that it can be removed and you can put a 3D printed topper on there is a bit of fun too, but personally, I’m happy with the stock one. Weirdly, I think the stock one looks like the front panel of the Fractal Design Torrent cases, what do you think? They’d look pretty cool together either way.

As for performance, really nothing to complain about, the Atmos is on par with many of the best AIO coolers, but that’s hardly surprising given it has some good quality fans, a large 360mm aluminium radiator, and the latest Cooler Master dual-chamber pump. It runs cool, it runs quiet, and really, you couldn’t ask for much more.

Should I Buy One?

A great looking cooler at a competitive price, with a very easy to install setup thanks to the pre-installed fans, and very nicely packaged components, a great cooler and I highly recommend it. An extra thumbs up for the massive reduction of plastic waste in their packaging too.
