Cooler Master MH670 Wireless Gaming Headset Review

How Much Does it Cost?
The Cooler Master MH670 Gaming Headset is available right now from most major retailers. We found it on Amazon UK for £109.99, which is a lot of money, I’ll admit. However, for a premium quality, high-performance, wireless, and multi-format gaming headset, it’s honestly very good value too. It’s about the same price as the SteelSeries Arctis 5, the Corsair HS70 Pro and the Turtle Beach Elite Pro.
Overview
I liked the MH630, it’s a great stereo headset and it came in at a really competitive price. I loved the design, the build quality and the features. THen I loved the MH650, which was basically the MH630 beefed up with more powerful processing abilities. Now, we have the MH670, the best of the bunch, it has all the bells and whistles you could ask for from a gaming headset.
Build Quality
The entire series of MH headsets are really well made, but this one is just a little bit better. The leather padding on the headband and the ear cups gives it a more premium look and feel, albeit, I think that is subjective as you may prefer the fabric finish.
Sound Quality
Cutting the cable hasn’t changed the sound quality, that’s for sure. However, I think the MH670 are the best sounding of the bunch thanks to the leather padding. It really locks in the sound, gives it a bit more bass, and just sounded punchier overall.
Multi-Format
One of the biggest perks here is the multi-format support. If you’re gaming on PC, Switch or Android, it’s wireless thanks to the USB-C adaptor for the dongle. However, if you’re gaming on anything else, you can use the 3.5mm cable as a backup, which is great. Keep in mind, 7.1 is only available wirelessly though.
