Cooler Master MM310 RGB Lightweight Gaming Mouse Review

Cooler Master is one of my favourite gaming brands, as they often have unique designs and more often than not, their prices are very competitive. That’s especially true from the new Cooler Master MM310, their latest gaming mouse that looks set to stun those who are feeling some stress on their finances. It’s only around £30, but it promises a range of features that put it in line with gaming mice that cost twice as much! Plus, it’s available in either black or a cool white and grey finish, and I’m glad to say I have the slick-looking white one!

Cooler Master MM310

It may be affordable, but it’s no slouch when it comes to features. It features a prograde 12,000 DPI optical sensor, genuine PTFE feet, a new Ultraweave cable for snag-free, drag-free gaming, Nvidia Reflex support, and it’s even got an ultralight design too. As Cooler Master themselves say, it’s “light on weight but heavy on performance” and I’m eager to put the Cooler Master MM310 through its paces. It certainly sounds like it has a lot to offer at a great price though, so let’s get started!

Features

  • Lightweight, Ambidextrous Design – The Cooler Master MM310 Mouse is optimised for right-handers with two side buttons and weighs less the 55g without exterior holes that compromise on aesthetics
  • Ultraweave Cable – The Cooler Master MM310 cable is super lightweight and engineered in-house to prevent cable snag when swiping
  • RGB Illumination – Give your victories some flashy good looks with lighting on the MM310 mouse logo and scroll wheel.
  • Gaming Grade Sensor – Adapt the Cooler Master MM310 Gaming Mouse to your game or playstyle with an optical sensor adjustable up to 12,000 DPI.
  • Upgraded Mouse Feet – The Cooler Master MM310 includes new-and-improved feet made with PTFE material for low friction and high durability, which provides a smooth, fast glide with maximum responsiveness.
  • Customisable Features – New, improved software allows you to remap controls, customise your RGBs, tune your macros and more.

Nvidia Reflex

NVIDIA Reflex is a revolutionary suite of technologies that optimize and measure system latency to deliver the ultimate competitive advantage. Gaming mice with NVIDIA Reflex when paired with NVIDIA G-SYNC Displays provide the only system latency measurement tool that detects incoming mouse clicks and measures the time for the resulting pixels (gun muzzle flash) to change on screen. Start every match with confidence, knowing your PC is operating at the lowest possible system latency.

As a child still in my 30's (but not for long), I spend my day combining my love of music and movies with a life-long passion for gaming, from arcade classics and retro consoles to the latest high-end PC and console games. So it's no wonder I write about tech and test the latest hardware while I enjoy my hobbies!
