Cooler Master today unveiled the HAF XM PC case. The HAF XM is a midtower equivalent to the HAF X that supports E-ATX boards and smaller unlike the HAF X which supported XL-ATX motherboards and smaller. The HAF XM has 8+1 PCI expansion slots at the rear meaning up to 4 dual slot cards can be installed, potential for QuadFire or 4 Way SLI.
As with all other cases in the HAF (High Air Flow) series the case has a large emphasis on high airflow. A positive pressure airflow system is maintained in the case by using a front 200mm red LED intake fan, a rear exhaust 140mm fan, two top 200mm exhaust fans and two 140mm side intake fans. Its front-panel includes two USB 3.0 ports (standard header), two USB 2.0 ports, and HDA front-panel jacks. The case is made mostly of SECC-steel and ABS plastic. It weighs about 10.5 kg. The Cooler Master HAF XM is expected to be priced around US $99 (+ any appropriate taxes).
