Cooler Master has recently announced the European availability of the SF524 CPU cooler from the GeminII series. Those with a good memory will remember seeing this before, and you are right as it is basically the same as the S524 released in August.
In this “new” model, you will find a different fan that operates at 1300 RPM, or 900 RPM when using the silent mode adapter. As for the S524, it uses a PWM fan with RPM ranging between 800 and 1800.
The GeminII SF524 measures 144 x 144 x 105 mm and weights 592 grams, it is equipped with five 6 mm copper heatpipes and offers support for Intel’s LGA 1366, 1156, 1155, 775 and AMD’s FM1, AM3+, AM3, AM2+, AM2 processors.
The cooler is now selling for the price of €37.
