Cooler Master Seidon 120M Liquid CPU Cooler Review
With a PWM fan that starts at just 600RPM it wasn’t surprising to see the Cooler Master Seidon 120M was very quiet. Yes the pump does make a little bit of noise but as you can see below it is nothing major and it is still quieter than every other liquid CPU cooler we have tested to date.
Overclocking increased acoustic performance marginally but it still provides excellent results. Having a PWM fan, although an expected inclusion for most CPU coolers, made a big difference with the Seidon 120M versus the Corsair H55 which uses a fixed speed fan.
I couldn’t agree more with the LED & tubing statement. Not terribly clever.
Take the pump cover off, and it is a 100.00% identical to any Asetek unit. It is either made by Asetek or an exact copy. So much for the “refreshing” new design…
Design is defined as “The purposeful or inventive arrangement of parts or details”. I would say that this pump is different to other Asetek Units. Hence it is actually a refreshing new design. Just because the pump motor is the same it doesn’t mean the pump as a whole is. Clearly it is the same pump internals because the performance is the same, it just looks different which is what I was pointing out.
Can i do a push/pull if i put the 2 fans on the rediater?
If you have an extra 120mm fan then yes you can. Cooler Master provide 8 screws so you can do push pull.
Will this fit on Cooler Master 690 II Advanced? Thanks.
