Cooler Master Seidon 240M Liquid CPU Cooler Review

As you can see Cooler Master have been ever so kind as to include some skimpy underwear for you…
Just kidding, Cooler Master actually included a full radiator cover rubber fitting to prevent fan vibration – an excellent inclusion. The rest of the accessory kit is standard mounting brackets and a backplate, but the inclusion of a y splitter cable is a nice addition to save you an extra fan header on your motherboard. There are also bucket loads of fan screws if you want to add an extra set of fans.
I can’t really say too much about the installation procedure that isn’t immediately obvious from the instruction manual. However, my general impressions are that it is a very simple procedure. Generation after generation of all in one liquid CPU coolers have come and gone and we are at a stage now where the mounting kits have been well developed. The Cooler Master kit is no exception and the installation is very simple and provides a very firm mount. It involves securing the backplate independently to the motherboard, adding the brackets to the pump unit and then securing the pump to the motherboard, Nothing out of the ordinary just simple and functional goodness.
Just in case you were wondering, Cooler Master recommend that you don’t put the Seidon 240M in the bin.
Oops. Once put in the bin the product triggers a nuclear explosion.
