Cooler Master Teases the MasterLiquid Maker 240 Liquid Cooler

Cooler Master Brasil has posted a teaser photo revealing the company’s next upcoming AIO cooler release. Unlike other AIOs, this one is expandable and uses the waterblock that Cooler Master displayed at Computex 2017. The AIO consists of a 240mm radiator, a 200ml reservoir with pump built-in at the bottom, flexible tubing, coolant and the CPU block.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid Maker 240 Features

An expandable loop allows users to incorporate other components such as GPU into the mix. Cooler Master actually had plenty of units at their Computex 2017 booth demonstrating this with the MasterLiquid Maker 240. The block itself is confirmed to be made of pure copper, and according to the rep I spoke to at Computex, the radiator is copper as well. The block is very heavy in person and it is one of the highest quality blocks I’ve seen in while.

Although Cooler Master tapped OEMs such as Alphacool with their expandable coolers before, they do have the capability to make their own. Mixing metals is not a good idea with custom loops, so it makes sense to have an all copper setup. The downside is that it costs a lot more than an aluminium loop. There are some workarounds such as using special formulated coolants like what Thermaltake does for their Tt LCS series.

The G 1/4 compression fittings have nickel plating and the tubing is clear as well as flexible. It includes a pair of MasterFan Pro 120 RGB LED fans with 1 to 3 RGB splitter. The 200ml pump reservoir also comes with a mounting bracket out of the box.

Pricing and Availability

Cooler Master did not reveal pricing yet nor availability. However, they will most likely release it before or on CES 2018 in January.
