For a budget and rather compact cooler, the stock cooling performance on the TX3i is admirable, managing performance that’s on par with many more expensive coolers, included a few AIO water cooling solutions.
Putting the clocks up did put a lot of strain on the TX3i, but while temperatures were high, they weren’t a cause for concern overall. It’s certainly capable of overclocking, but I likely wouldn’t run such high voltages and clocks as we have on such a small cooler anyway, but at least we know it’s got the capability of doing so.
Nice and quiet performance here, barely a whisper from that tiny fan.
Pushing the RPM up did push up the noise, but this was to be expected from a smaller fan as it has to work a little harder to move the required amount of air for cooling while overclocked. It certainly wasn’t terrible, but again, I’d suggest less extreme overclocks on this cooler anyway.
